Last updated: 24 September 2026

Welcome to Gissah.

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our website and your purchase of products from GISSAH LIMITED (“Gissah”, “we”, “us” or “our”).

By accessing our website or placing an order, you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully before making a purchase.

1. About Us

This website is operated by:

GISSAH LIMITED
Company Registration Number: 850915
VAT Registration Number: GB514193312
Email: [email protected]

Throughout these Terms, references to “Gissah”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to GISSAH LIMITED.

2. Using Our Website

You may use our website for lawful personal shopping purposes.

You must not:

  • Use our website for unlawful or fraudulent purposes.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our website, systems or customer accounts.
  • Introduce viruses, malicious software or other harmful technology.
  • Interfere with the operation or security of our website.
  • Use automated systems to improperly access, scrape or disrupt our services.
  • Misuse our content, trademarks, photographs or other intellectual property.

We may suspend or restrict access where reasonably necessary to protect our website, customers or business.

3. Products

We make reasonable efforts to ensure that product descriptions, photographs, sizes, specifications and other information displayed on our website are accurate.

However, colours and product appearance may vary slightly depending on your device, screen settings, lighting or photography.

Fragrance perception can also vary between individuals. Descriptions of fragrance notes, character, longevity or similar attributes are provided to help customers understand the product and are not guarantees of an individual's perception or experience.

Product packaging may occasionally change without prior notice.

4. Product Availability

All products are subject to availability.

Adding a product to your shopping cart does not reserve it.

In rare circumstances, a product may become unavailable after you place your order.

If we cannot supply a product you ordered, we will contact you and, where appropriate, issue a refund for the unavailable product.

5. Prices

Prices displayed on our website are shown in the currency applicable to the selected market or otherwise indicated during checkout.

For UK consumer sales, displayed prices will include VAT where applicable.

For customers in other countries, prices, taxes and duties may vary according to the destination, applicable laws and the delivery method.

We reserve the right to change product prices at any time. A price change will not normally affect an order that we have already accepted.

6. VAT, Customs and Import Charges

UK Orders

Where applicable, UK VAT is included in the price presented to UK consumers.

Our UK VAT Registration Number is:

GB514193312

International Orders

Orders delivered outside the United Kingdom may be subject to destination-country VAT, sales tax, customs duties, import charges, clearance fees or other government charges.

Where our checkout specifically states that duties and taxes are included, we or our logistics provider will arrange for those amounts to be handled according to the applicable delivery arrangement.

Where duties and taxes are not stated as included, the recipient may be responsible for applicable import taxes, customs duties and clearance charges.

Any applicable treatment will be communicated during checkout or as part of the delivery terms where reasonably practicable.

Customers are responsible for providing accurate information required for customs clearance.

7. European Union Orders

We may accept orders for delivery to Germany and other European Union countries.

Applicable VAT and import treatment can depend on factors including:

  • Destination country
  • Order value
  • Location from which the products are dispatched
  • Applicable VAT arrangements
  • Customs rules
  • Delivery terms

Where we collect applicable taxes or duties at checkout, this will be reflected in your order total.

Where charges are payable by the recipient upon importation, the customer is responsible for those charges unless otherwise stated at checkout.

Nothing in these Terms limits mandatory consumer rights available to customers under applicable UK or EU consumer law.

8. Placing an Order

To place an order, you must provide accurate and complete information requested during checkout.

After submitting an order, you will normally receive an electronic confirmation.

Receipt of an order confirmation does not necessarily mean that we have accepted your order.

We may decline or cancel an order where reasonably necessary, including where:

  • A product is unavailable.
  • Payment cannot be authorised.
  • Pricing contains an obvious error.
  • We reasonably suspect fraud or unauthorised activity.
  • Delivery restrictions prevent us from fulfilling the order.
  • The order breaches applicable law or these Terms.

If payment has already been taken for an order that we subsequently cancel, we will refund the appropriate amount.

9. Payment

We accept the payment methods displayed at checkout.

Payments may be processed by Shopify Payments and/or other authorised payment providers.

You confirm that you are authorised to use the payment method provided.

Orders may be subject to payment verification and fraud-prevention checks.

10. Order Confirmation

Once your order has been successfully placed, we will normally send an order confirmation to the email address and/or other contact information provided during checkout.

Please review your confirmation carefully.

If you identify an error, contact us as soon as possible at:

[email protected]

We cannot guarantee that an order can be changed once processing or fulfilment has begun.

11. Delivery

Available delivery methods, estimated delivery periods and applicable shipping charges will be displayed at checkout or within our Shipping Policy.

Delivery times are estimates unless we expressly state otherwise.

Delivery may be affected by circumstances outside our reasonable control, including:

  • Customs clearance
  • Courier delays
  • Weather
  • Transport disruption
  • Public holidays
  • Incorrect delivery information
  • Regulatory inspections
  • Force majeure events

We will comply with mandatory consumer-law requirements concerning delivery.

12. Delivery Information

Customers are responsible for providing complete and accurate delivery information.

This includes, where applicable:

  • Recipient name
  • Address
  • Postcode
  • Telephone number
  • Email address
  • Building or apartment information

If incorrect information causes a shipment to be delayed, returned or otherwise undeliverable, additional delivery charges may apply where legally permitted.

13. Risk and Ownership

Risk in the products will pass to you in accordance with applicable consumer law, generally when you or a person identified by you takes physical possession of the goods.

Ownership will pass according to applicable law and once we have received payment in full where legally permitted.

14. Cancellation Rights

If you are a consumer in the UK or European Economic Area, you may have a statutory right to cancel certain online purchases.

For many distance-sale purchases, consumers generally have 14 days from receiving the goods to notify the seller that they wish to cancel, subject to applicable exclusions.

After notifying us of cancellation, you will generally have a further period prescribed by applicable law to return the goods.

To request cancellation, contact:

[email protected]

Your statutory rights are not affected by these Terms.

15. Perfume, Cosmetics and Sealed Products

For hygiene, health and product-integrity reasons, certain sealed products may not be eligible for return after their protective seal has been removed where an applicable legal exception to the cancellation right permits this.

We will not use this provision to exclude rights that customers have under mandatory consumer law.

If a fragrance or other product is faulty, damaged, incorrectly supplied or not as described, your statutory rights remain unaffected regardless of our normal return conditions.

Please see our Refund & Returns Policy for further information.

16. Returns

Products being returned should normally be:

  • In their original condition.
  • Unused, except where reasonably necessary to inspect the product and permitted by law.
  • Returned with original packaging where reasonably possible.
  • Accompanied by proof of purchase.
  • Returned according to the instructions provided by our customer-service team.

Different rules may apply to faulty, damaged, incorrect or non-conforming products.

Please contact [email protected] before returning an item where our Returns Policy requires prior instructions.

17. Refunds

Approved refunds will normally be made to the original payment method.

Processing times can vary depending on the payment provider and financial institution.

Shipping charges and return costs will be handled in accordance with applicable law and our Refund & Returns Policy.

Nothing in our refund policy affects your statutory consumer rights.

18. Damaged, Faulty or Incorrect Products

Please contact us as soon as reasonably possible if your order arrives:

  • Damaged
  • Faulty
  • Incomplete
  • Incorrect
  • Materially different from its description

Contact:

[email protected]

Please provide your order number and, where reasonably requested, photographs or other information that enables us to investigate the issue.

Your statutory rights regarding faulty or non-conforming products are not affected.

19. Promotions and Discount Codes

Promotional offers and discount codes may be subject to additional conditions.

Unless otherwise stated:

  • Promotional codes cannot be exchanged for cash.
  • Codes may have an expiry date.
  • Certain products or collections may be excluded.
  • Only one promotional code may be permitted per order.
  • Promotions may not be combined.
  • Codes may be limited to specific markets or customers.

We may cancel or refuse the use of promotional codes obtained or used fraudulently or in breach of the applicable promotion terms.

20. Gift Cards

Where Gissah gift cards are offered, additional terms may apply.

Gift cards generally cannot be exchanged for cash except where required by law.

Expiry dates and usage restrictions, if applicable, will be disclosed when the gift card is purchased or issued.

21. Intellectual Property

All intellectual property associated with our website and brand belongs to Gissah, our licensors or other respective rights holders.

This may include:

  • GISSAH name and trademarks
  • Logos
  • Product names
  • Fragrance names
  • Photography
  • Videos
  • Website designs
  • Product descriptions
  • Graphics
  • Packaging designs
  • Written content

You may not reproduce, distribute, commercially exploit or otherwise use protected content without appropriate authorisation, except where permitted by law.

22. Reviews and User Content

If you submit a review, photograph, comment or other content through our website, you confirm that you have the right to submit that content.

Content must not be unlawful, fraudulent, defamatory, threatening, discriminatory, infringing or otherwise inappropriate.

We may moderate or remove content where reasonably necessary and legally permitted.

23. Fraud and Misuse

We reserve the right to investigate transactions where we reasonably suspect:

  • Payment fraud
  • Account misuse
  • Promotion abuse
  • Unauthorised transactions
  • Resale fraud
  • Other unlawful activity

Orders may be held or cancelled where reasonably necessary while such matters are investigated.

24. Limitation of Liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful.

In particular, nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for matters that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.

If you are purchasing as a consumer, your mandatory statutory rights remain unaffected.

We are not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable or for business losses suffered by a consumer where exclusion is permitted by law.

25. Events Outside Our Control

We will not be responsible for delay or failure to perform obligations where caused by events outside our reasonable control, subject to your mandatory consumer rights.

Such events may include major transport disruption, natural disasters, government action, war, civil disturbance, epidemics, telecommunications failures or other events beyond our reasonable control.

26. Privacy

Your personal information will be processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Our Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, why we process it, how it may be shared and your privacy rights.

27. Cookies

Our website uses cookies and similar technologies.

Please review our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy and use the privacy controls available on our website to manage your preferences.

28. Third-Party Services

Our website may use or provide access to third-party services, including payment providers, delivery providers, social networks and other technology providers.

Use of third-party services may be subject to the provider's own terms and privacy policies.

29. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms periodically to reflect changes in our services, business operations, website or applicable law.

The version applicable to your purchase will generally be the version in effect when your order is placed, subject to applicable law.

The latest version will be available on our website.

30. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unlawful, invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.

31. Governing Law and Consumer Rights

These Terms are governed by applicable laws of the United Kingdom, subject to mandatory consumer protections that may apply to you.

If you are a consumer resident elsewhere, including in an EU member state, you may also benefit from mandatory consumer protections under the laws applicable to you that cannot lawfully be excluded by these Terms.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to deprive you of mandatory consumer rights.
